About

Out of the Blue Solutions LLC was founded in 2005 by Sivan Schlecter to help roll out LOGO (Extenal Link), the first advertising-supported LGBT channel from MTV Networks. Previously, she led lesbian marketing strategies for The L Word series launch (Extenal Link), worked with the range of national advertisers courting LGBT consumers as The Advocate's (Extenal Link) marketing director, and helped restructure LPI Media's marketing division during its 2000 takeover and relaunch of Out (Extenal Link).

In the 90s, Sivan coordinated the national media tour launching former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop's first brand, Time Life Medical. Starting her career at major labels, she co-founded Queenie Records (Extenal Link), a women-empowering independent, and honed her skills in radio promotion and college marketing at Elektra Entertainment (Extenal Link), TVT Records (Extenal Link), Chrysalis Records (Extenal Link) and Rough Trade (Extenal Link). Sivan received a B.A. in Communications from Rutgers University, Cook College-School of Environmental and Biological Science.
